Wes and Letta got a puppy! Meet Penny!

Puppy tries to escape.

Wes and I went to Chicago for the grand opening of Mystery City, a new Kidrobottish toy store
and art gallery. For the opening, Josh, the owner, organized a group show with paintings and
prints by Jay Ryan, Sket One, Burlesque, and others.

How to Chicago.

This Dad and kid were dressed exactly the same. The kid had more swagger than you and all your
friends put together.

I will be biting this design.

Now added to the list of ways to screw up my DJ name: Mike the BLOO King.

Back at Mystery City for the opening.

Paintings and toys, toys and paintings.

Ooooooh.

Burlesque holdin' it down at Mystery City:
Two "Posse Cut" slabs from our 2005 "First Blood Pt III" show,
four full/empty dresses by Todd, and a bear by me.

Two posters by Aaron Horkey, the pride and joy of Burlesque.

Wes and I lookin' tough.

Jay Ryan goes "OK, count to three and take the picture," then on 2 1/2, he smashes
Wes and I in the chest.

But then he posed for a real picture.

Wes with Jay's greyhound, Seth.

Whoa. Original Chris Ware pen art in Jay's house. Acme Novelty Library #5 cover. Whoa.

Speaking of, here's a sneaky shot (NO PHOTOGRAPHS!) from the Chris Ware exhibit at
Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art.
